Outside of the downtown area, Davis Beach is a quieter area favored by families & nearby cabin owners. Whether under the shade of scattered pine trees or basking in the sun, the sand & water offer many diverse activities for all ages. The swimming area is at your own risk; there are no lifeguards. There are also public restrooms & two docks, which are privately maintained & owned, but open to courteous public pedestrian use. Boat mooring is limited to the dock & cabin owners, whose predecessors constructed the docks before the park was deeded to the city. In addition, one of the city's domestic water pumping stations is at the far south end of this Park. Davis Beach Park is located at the west end of Diamond St. off Davis St. near Lick Creek Rd. Users should park in the municipal lot at the southeast corner of Lick Creek Rd. & Davis St., walk north along Davis St. & west on Diamond St. Please be courteous to the owners of property in the vicinity & avoid blocking narrow streets & driveways.
