Open Gym Indoor Soccer - Winter 2025

Open Gym Indoor Soccer  

When: Tuesdays starting January 7 through February 25

Time: 6:00-8:30pm

Where: Barbara Morgan Elementary School Gym

Ages: 14 years + (minors will need parent permission, or register online)

Cost: $5 each time (pay before you play and sign waiver each time) OR $30 season pass (save $10)

How it works: Join a team, play soccer, first team to score stays on, while the other team sits out. Goals scored before 30 seconds do not count, each 'game' is 5 minutes. If no one scores, both teams sit out and 2 more play. 5v5 with live subs. 

No referees- gym monitor has the right to warn players with poor attitudes as well as eject players from the gym who cannot play nice. Fighting will not be tolerated.  No refunds will be issued. 

NON-MARKING soled shoes ONLY!  If your shoes leave marks on the floor you will stop playing.

Players play at their own risk and must sign the waiver each time, unless they pay for season pass.  Questions may be referred to Recreation Supervisor, Tara Woods (208) 634-8968 or twoods@mccall.id us

Tots & Tykes Toddler Movement (Series 1) - Winter 2025

Join us as we play, jump, crawl, roll, catch and so much more! This active class requires parent or guardian participation. Includes a healthy snack at the end of each class (please list any food allergies when registering).

No School Fun Day- March 7 - Winter 2024

Join McCall Parks and Recreation for another No School Fun Day on Friday, March 7. We will start the day off with a PG movie at the basement of the Idaho First Bank building (thank you IFB for graciously donating the space).  After the movie, crafts and games we will load up and travel to Zim's Hot Springs for an afternoon of soaking in the springs.

All trips will be supervised by McCall Parks and Recreation staff.

When: Friday, March 7 from 9:00am- 4:00pm

Where: Pick up and drop off at the McCall Post Office parking lot

What to Bring:  Backpack filled with swimming suit, swim aide (if needed), towel, lunch, water bottle, snacks and things to do on the bus (not responsible for lost or damaged electronics on the journey).

Cost: $25 Residents (live inside McCall city limits) $23.36 program fee, $1.50 State Tax, $0.25 LOT

$30 Non-Residents (live outside McCall city limits)  $28.04 program fee, $1.80 State Tax, $0.30 LOT

No School Fun Day- April 4 - Spring 2024

Join McCall Parks and Recreation for another No School Fun Day on Friday, April 4. We will drive to Cascade Rec Center to swim, jump, dive and shower before lunch. Each child will need to pack a lunch, snacks and water bottle.  Afterwards we will drive back to McCall for a PG movie at the Idaho First Bank basement (who graciously donates the space each time!)  Movies snacks and drinks will be provided.

All trips will be supervised by McCall Parks and Recreation staff.

Ladies Snowshoe - Winter 2024

Ladies only snowshoe afternoon with EmpowHer Outdoors along the North Valley Trail system. This adventure is for ALL skill levels! Option to stay flat along the meadow loop or challenge yourself with 100' elevation gain for a beautiful McCall valley view. Warm beverages provided at the end!

Snowshoes and poles are available if needed.

Dates: February 1 OR March 1

Times: 1:00-4:00pm

Where: Activity Barn Parking lot; near North Valley Trail

Cost: $25 City of McCall residents 

$30 Non-City residents

Need to Know: Dress in layers (so you can take off layers as you warm up)- make sure to include a hat, gloves/mittens, snow boots, warm socks, sunglasses and small bag to carry your water and personal belongings. The full trail is 2.2 miles total and includes flat open meadow, hill climb and descent; with option to stay flat if so desires.
